IV. Downloading Large Data (<5,000 candidate data)

When the user attempts to export 5,000 or more candidate data, a caution sign will display by clicking on "Download." This sign indicates that the export will be in a queue, which will result in a lengthy wait.

A large amount of data includes selecting all campaigns, extensive date range like the past three months, or more, including the extra data and the transcript data in your exports.

If the user proceeds on exporting the large data, they will see a progress bar on their notification bell where they can monitor the file being exported and this is where they can also download it.

If the user is only seeing a gray bar with no progress, this means that the export request is still in the queue, it may seem as if nothing is happening, but it is in a line.

V. Downloading Small Amount of Data (<5,000 candidate data)

When the user attempts to download less than 5,000 candidate data, a new tab will open, and the file will be downloaded directly to the user's computer.

This behavior is from the recent export version. We have reinstated this behavior so that small exports are not behind the large exports in the queue.

πŸ’‘Pro-tip:

  • Here are different ways of selecting data points to export
  • As a best practice, select the information you only need. This makes the download process quicker. πŸš€

❓FAQs:

  1. Why am I not seeing the progress bar sometimes when downloading data in the CRM?

a. If the user is downloading less than 5k data the progress bar will NOT show anymore, this will go back to the original behavior (The file will be downloaded directly to the user's desktop)

b. If the user is downloading more than 5k data, then the progress bar will show with a warning sign.

2. Can I perform other actions in the CRM when downloading large data?

  • The user may also perform other activities or close the window while the export takes place in the background.

3. Can I download multiple large data at the same time?

  • When the user has an ongoing export and is attempting to download another large data set, the system will no longer support this operation, because it will only allow one export for each user at a time.
