📌Why is it important?

Interview questions are one of the crucial parts in candidate screening as it reveals if a candidate fits for the role or not. Fortunately, we have this feature where you can customize interview questions on a campaign level.

What's more interesting is, you could select which response type you want to receive - text, audio, image, video, and even files!

📝Use Case:

  1. The client wants to add a question with a "video" response type to assess the communication skills of every applicant.

  2. The client needs to collect candidate requirements and other documents.

⚙️How to configure it?

I. Adding a CRM Question

Step 1: Select a campaign
Step 2: Under campaign settings, click on the "questions" tab
Step 3: Click on "add a question"

Step 4: Type the question in the box provided.

II. Selecting a Response Type

Step 5: Select which answer type to be used for this certain question.

Audio - the candidate will be asked to record his answer to the question using the audio recorder button available on the messenger or landing page.

Audio/Text - the candidate has an option whether to send his response via text or audio recording.

Text - the candidate will just simply typed in his answer on the chatbox.

Video - the candidate will be asked to take a video of himself while answering the question.

Multiple Choice - the candidate will be asked to select an answer from the given choices.

File Upload [NEW] - the candidate will be asked to submit required files or any documents like their CV.

III. Adding a Candidate Attribute

Step 6: You may also add a data point to which you want to save the candidate's response.

Step 7: Once done, click on the "save" button.

IV. Editing CRM Question

Step 1: Select a campaign
Step 2: Under campaign settings, click on the "questions" tab

Step 3: Across the question, click on the pencil icon

Step 4: Perform the necessary changes

Step 5: Once done, click on the "Save" button

FAQs:

If the question was set up to receive an audio response, what will happen if the candidate typed in the answer instead of recording audio?

- It will trigger a default fallback saying that the response type is not correct and the bot will ask the question again.

What are the limitations for file upload response type?

- System should accept any file formats except .zip, .exe and should not be larger than 2MB.
Accepted formats : JPG, PNG, Doc, PDF, PPT, Excel, video file, audio file.

How do I access the files/images submitted by the candidate?

- The documents submitted are visible on the candidate profile on the CRM under the 'Documents' section.

For security reasons, if a recruiter is idle on a candidate profile with documents for too long, the link to the documents will expire after 3 minutes. The recruiter will need to refresh the page to refresh the links to view the documents.
