There are two ways in adding candidate using Talkpush. 1st is by typing in the candidates information. First Name, Last Name, Email and Phone Number.
2nd, you can also add via CSV file.

This article below will show you how to do these two options.

Step 1: Search the campaign you intend to add candidate/s

Step 2: Click on the the Menu icon (3 dots) to open actions tab then choose <Add Candidates>

Step 3: Fill out the required details

Then Save!!😉

If adding the candidate/s was a success, you should see a green check under Result

Adding candidates using a CSV file

In the previous version of the Talkpush CRM, users could only upload CSV files with the following information – Name, E-mail Address, Phone Number, Location, and Referee. This had limited our users in customizing their campaigns to show additional information that would help in filtering their candidates.

With the improved CSV upload, users can now add additional columns which would automatically show in the candidate profile under Other Information.

Here’s how you can do a batch upload with custom columns.

Step One: Create your Excel file and save as .CSV

In this sample Excel sheet, the information boxed in red are the standard columns accepted by the tool, while the ones in blue are custom columns I added for additional information.

Make sure to label your custom columns in the exact way you want to see them in the candidate profile as you won’t be able to edit them once they’re already uploaded. Of course, you can manually delete the information and then change the it for everyone, but who would want to do that?

Once done, save your Excel file as .CSV (Comma Separated Formats).

Step Two: Search the campaign you intend to add candidate/s

Step 2: Click on the the Menu icon (3 dots) to open actions tab then choose <Add Candidates>

Step 3: Choose <CSV Parsing> option

Step 4: Drag your CSV file into the box

Step 5: Don't forget to Submit 😊

Notes:
Keep an eye on the numbers🔎

  1. Processing means that this was a successful upload (This may take some time depending on the volume being uploaded)
  2. Rows Failed means there could be an incorrect value in the cell or, a duplicate candidate being uploaded.

FAQ:

  1. If you upload a candidate that is already existing in the campaign. The candidate will not be uploaded. Given that the campaign's "allow duplicate applications" is turned off)

IE: If you are uploading 10 candidates using a CSV and noticed that only 8 candidates were uploaded in the inbox folder. This just means that the other 2 candidates are already existing in the campaign.

How to find out?

  1. You can simply search the email or name of the candidate in the search bar. The result would mostly show the candidate is actually existing in the campaign already.
