The ideal process in recruitment is for jobseekers to find and apply when an open position is advertised.

But it's not always that simple. At times, applicants must be entered manually in your database or a recruitment software program,

In this article, you will learn how to add candidates through the following options below.

         I. Manual Adding of Candidates
         II. CV Upload
         III. Import CSV


I. Manual Adding of candidates

Step 1: Select the leads tab > Add candidates; a new page will load. Select the "Manual add" option.

Step 2: Fill out the information needed. You can add more candidates by clicking on "Add row".

Once complete, click on continue. A pop of notification will appear once the upload was successful.

II. CV/Resume Upload

Step 1: Select the leads tab > Add candidates; a new page will load. Select the "Upload Resume" option.

Step 2: Fill out the information for numbers 1 and 2 and, lastly upload the resume/s in number 3.

📌You may upload multiple CVs at a time by holding on *ctrl* when selecting the files from your computer.

A successful upload will show a ✔️ result, while failed one will give you a ❌ mark.

III. Import CSV

Step 1: Select the leads tab > Add candidates; a new page will load. Select the "Import CSV" option.

Step 2: Once you've read the instructions carefully proceed to numbers 1, 2, and 3 then click on continue.

We will show you the progress loading line for CSV imports in the Progress Notification Panel, which will indicate the stage of the upload, no matter if it's 1 upload or 1000+:

  • Full green bar: All the candidates have been uploaded successfully.

  • Full green bar with an alert symbol (!): The upload has been completed, but some candidates were not uploaded. (Tip: make sure the candidates' data fields match the required upload format)

  • Full red bar: The import failed, and the candidates were not uploaded successfully.

  • Queued (text): The import is pending.

  • In Progress (text): The import is being executed, and its progress is expressed as a percentage (1-100%).

Download Symbol: This button gives you the option to download a CSV file with the status of each candidate (completed or failed).

That's it! As simple as that!
