Take charge of your WhatsApp Business setup with Talkpush’s self-service configuration. This article shows you how to connect your account, verify phone numbers, and enable WhatsApp messaging directly in the platform.
With clear steps and guidance, you can manage your WhatsApp channel independently and keep conversations flowing smoothly.
This configuration can only be performed by users with Owner-level access.
How to Set it Up
To start the process, go to the "Company Settings" tab and reach the "WhatsApp Settings" section.
In this section, you can manage all your WhatsApp accounts and check their connection status, who connected them, and when. Additionally, you will also be able to see their Meta Quality Rating.
To add a new account, click the "Connect with WhatsApp" button, which opens a pop-up window for the Facebook Meta connection flow. The very first step is to log in with your account and then accept the Meta Terms of Use and Permissions.
After moving forward, you will be prompted to select a Business Portfolio and to use an existing Business Account or to create a new one.
Creating a new Business Account
When creating a new Business Account, the system allows you to select the name, Business Category, Country, and Time Zone, as well as the website. Make sure to fill in all the fields before moving on.
After clicking Next, you will need to provide the phone number associated with the account. For security purposes, the account must be verified via text message or phone call.
Selecting "Use Display Name Only" is not recommended as having a Business Account without a phone number will not work within Talkpush.
Once verification is complete, the process will be finished! You can click on "Finish" to close the window, and after a few moments, the account will automatically appear in the "WhatsApp settings" tab.
Connecting an already existing Business Account
If you already have a Business Account, select it from the list and proceed directly with phone verification and the same steps shown above.
If you would like to use an existing WhatsApp account, make sure to disable Two-Step Verification in the WhatsApp section of the Meta Business Manager; otherwise, the process will fail.
