As candidates complete their onboarding through the Landing Page, they can see the progress and validity of their document upload in real-time. This feature can be seamlessly integrated into various stages of the hiring process to minimize delays in the recruitment process due to receiving incorrect or invalid documents.
The Real-Time Document Upload Feedback works by:
Showing candidates real-time updates on their documents while they upload.
Informing candidates if the upload was successful or not.
Allowing candidates to resubmit documents that are not recognized up to three times. After three tries, candidates can still submit the file, but it will be marked as 'not recognized.'
Enabling candidates to upload multiple files at once.
How to Enable Real-Time Document Upload Feedback
Go to Templates > Documents
Click on the three-dot menu ⋮ > Edit
Enable the 'Real Time Landing Page Feedback' option
Considerations
Both checkbox options are available under Document Recognition Settings. Different combinations of these options will give you different results:
If you check "Document type recognition" but leave "Landing Page Feedback" unchecked, the recognition will happen in the background for Landing Pages. Candidates won't see if their documents are recognized; they'll only know that the document has been uploaded.
If you check both "Document type recognition" and "Landing Page Feedback," recognition will occur in Landing Pages. Candidates will receive live feedback on their uploads and can re-upload if necessary.
If you leave both "Document type recognition" and "Landing Page Feedback" unchecked, the candidate will upload the document but not be processed for recognition. Candidates will only receive feedback based on their upload.
Note: you can't check "Landing Page Feedback" alone; it depends on "Document type recognition."
You can also manage who can view/download the document.
