Collaborating with background screening partners Companies are increasingly integrating background screening into their recruitment processes to make informed hiring decisions. Comprehensive checks provide crucial insights into a candidate's history, helping assess suitability and mitigate risks.

With Talkpush, incorporating background screening in the hiring process is made effortless. The 'Share Profile' feature allows recruiters to securely send candidate applications to screening companies, either manually or automatically.

Recruiters can select which candidate data to share, granting screeners access to the necessary information for thorough investigations. Screening companies can then augment profiles with reviews, labels, attachments, and additional details.

This collaborative approach simplifies decision-making. Screeners provide a clear "proceed" or "don't proceed" recommendation, which maps to "shortlisted" or "rejected" status in Talkpush. This enables seamless progression of candidates through the hiring workflow based on screening outcomes.

By integrating with screening providers, Talkpush empowers companies to make well-informed hiring decisions through comprehensive candidate screening, streamlined within their existing recruitment processes.

Automated Process

Here's how the process would look for an automated process:

  1. In Company Settings, set up a list of emails to send applications to, such as the background screening company or relevant personnel.


  2. Configure the Autoflow: Select your triggers, for example: All users who are in the 'Background Check' custom folder, will be sent to the Background Screening company. Here you can select what data they can see from the profile and choose to give them the ability to shortlist or reject a candidate.


  3. Wait for the background screeners to send you their feedback. They'll be able to send a written review, add a label to the profile, move them to shortlist/rejected, and even attach a document within the profile, for example: Background Check Report, Criminal Records, Driving Records, etc. (Remember to set the Document Template).


  4. After receiving the report, process the application as usual in Talkpush, with the newly added data.

Note: You can configure how many days the Background Screening Company will have access to the application. They'll be given a password to log in to the platform.

This integrated approach provides multiple key benefits:
