Integrating LinkedIn with Talkpush for Recruitment Teams

LinkedIn is a powerful platform for recruiters, giving access to millions of professionals and enabling targeted talent searches with its advanced filters and networking features. When connected with tools like Talkpush, LinkedIn enhances recruitment by simplifying candidate sourcing and engagement, making hiring more efficient and effective.

Talkpush connects with LinkedIn using our 'Inbound' email, which is unique for each campaign. This setup allows candidates to apply on LinkedIn, with their applications automatically transferred to Talkpush for further processing. The integration ensures a smooth transition of candidate data from LinkedIn to your recruitment pipeline, enabling more effective talent management and engagement.

How to integrate LinkedIn & Talkpush

  1. Find your Inbound Email in Campaign Settings (Campaign Settings > Sourcing)

  2. Go to LinkedIn & Create a Job Posting using your LinkedIn Account. Fill out the details and click 'Write with AI' or 'Write on my own' to start.


  3. Write about the role (Step 1 of 2)

  4. Fill in other details, and ensure to include the Talkpush Inbound email (Step 2 of 2)

    That's it! When new candidates apply via LinkedIn, their profiles will be created within Talkpush, in the Campaign you selected.

Processing & Hiring LinkedIn Candidates

After bringing candidates from LinkedIn into Talkpush, you can start processing them through your recruitment workflow. We'll discuss the general process for an optimized recruitment process using Talkpush, however, you can customize it according to your preferences.

  1. Invitation: When candidates are added to Talkpush an invitation is sent to them to complete a prescreening questionnaire. This step helps you gather essential information early, allowing you to filter candidates effectively. You can use different question types to evaluate candidates based on:

    • Job Requirements: Screen for criteria like age, experience, education, or location.

    • Language Skills: Incorporate video or audio questions linked to tools like TalkScore, which can assess a candidate's language proficiency through responses to standard questions.

    • Communication Abilities: Use video questions to understand a candidate's presentation and communication skills, which can be particularly useful in later stages.

      Note: All these questions can be connected to Data Points, which are used to set up Autoflow—a tool that enables you to process candidates automatically based on specific parameters. This setup allows you to focus on human intervention at the final stage of the process.

  2. Processing: You’ll manage candidates in the Leads Tab, where you can handle both auto-assigned and self-assigned candidates. Candidate profiles can be easily shared with teammates or external parties via email or WhatsApp to gather feedback and make well-informed hiring decisions.

    For longer recruitment processes, we offer Follow-up Question Sets that let you continue gathering valuable data until you’re ready to step in and make a decision. Throughout the process, we can also integrate with third-party platforms to seamlessly connect and exchange data.

  3. Hiring: Once you’ve gathered all the necessary data, you can move the candidate to their final status—‘Hired,’ ‘Rejected,’ or ‘On Hold.’ Talkpush can be configured to send personalized messages through the candidate’s preferred communication channel, informing them of the next steps, and you can add rejection/shortlisted reasons for statistical purposes.

    Throughout the entire process, you’ll receive live updates in the Chatbox, where you can directly communicate with candidates, either individually or in bulk. For example, when negotiating job offers or providing feedback, you can easily manage these conversations. Additionally, all your recruitment data is available for analysis in the Analytics Tab, helping you to continuously refine your hiring strategy.

  4. Onboarding: Candidates can be smoothly onboarded into their roles using Talkpush. You can set up a sequence of automated emails that provide instructional materials and request necessary documents, such as ID, proof of employment, certifications, and more. Talkpush's AI-powered OCR capabilities streamline this process by automatically extracting and organizing the required information.

This is how you can hire from LinkedIn and even onboard candidates using Talkpush. With Talkpush, hiring through job boards, like Indeed, Jobscreet, or social networks becomes a smooth and straightforward process, making it easier than ever to find and onboard the right talent.

Candidate Experience

Candidates can navigate the hiring process through their preferred digital channels, such as WhatsApp, Messenger, Email, or your company’s website. For example, integrating Job Boards with WhatsApp creates a smooth experience: candidates can apply on a Job Board and continue their application directly on their phone in real-time.

When candidates apply via LinkedIn and their application is added to Talkpush, they will receive a WhatsApp message inviting them to start the prescreening process, which can be completed via the Landing Page or directly through WhatsApp.

If they move forward, candidates will be notified and can quickly schedule an interview with your team by clicking the WhatsApp link.


This approach ensures a straightforward experience for candidates, simplifying each step of the hiring journey and accelerating the candidate processing time.
