As a recruiter, your success depends on your ability to effectively reach and engage with top talent. Traditional outreach methods can be time-consuming and yield limited results. However, Talkpush's Broadcast Campaign allows you to manually upload leads and send personalized SMS/Email blasts, enabling you to connect with candidates in a targeted and impactful manner.

Use Case:

The Talent Acquisition team of a fast-growing tech company is looking for exceptional talent to join their team, but they face challenges in reaching out to potential candidates efficiently. Cold calling and generic email blasts often go unanswered, and nurturing leads without automated follow-ups is challenging. That's when they discover the potential of Talkpush's Broadcast Campaign.

Organize the leads on a CSV file. Upload these candidates manually by uploading the CSV file to the Broadcast campaign you created.

Craft Personalized Messages

On the Leads Tab, filter the candidates inside the Broadcast Campaign by selecting the Campaign and then selecting Inbox for the Folder. Select all candidates, then click the Send Message bulk action.

Then, craft personalized SMS and email messages for the candidates. Use tokens to address the candidates by their first names, and tailor the content to highlight specific aspects of the job that align with their skills and aspirations. You can also save these messages as Quick Replies so that you can use it for future SMS or email blasts. Once done with the message select the channel you want to send the messages then hit Send.

How to Edit SMS Templates to Add Personalization

  1. Access the SMS Template Library: Navigate to the Campaign or Settings sections where your SMS templates are stored.

  2. Select the Template to Edit: Identify and open the existing template for editing.

  3. Insert the Name Token: Use the dynamic tokens editor to place a name token in the desired location of the message.

  4. Review and Test: Ensure your message reads well and perform test sends to verify functionality.

  5. Save Changes: Confirm your edits to apply them across future campaigns.

Why Personalization Matters

Personalized SMS messages help engage your candidates better by making the communication feel relevant and tailored to them. Additionally, generic messages are more likely to be flagged by telecommunication providers, which can lead to potential blocking of your number. One key strategy is using the name token feature in Talkpush. Including the candidate’s name creates a personal connection and aligns with messaging best practices to avoid blocks.

With Talkpush's Broadcast Campaign, recruiters can optimize candidate outreach efforts and build strong connections with potential hires. By manually uploading leads and sending personalized SMS/Email blasts, recruiters can enhance candidate engagement and attract top talent to their organizations. Personalizing messages ensures that candidates feel valued and reduces the risk of your communication being flagged as spam. By tailoring outreach, Talkpush helps recruiters maintain effective and professional connections with top candidates, fostering trust and better responses.

Tips for Successful Campaigns

  • Keep Messages Professional: Personalization is crucial, but ensure all content is concise and professional.

  • Avoid Excessive Links: Too many hyperlinks can trigger spam filters and reduce message deliverability.

  • Monitor Delivery Metrics: Leverage Talkpush’s analytics tools to track and optimize the performance of your SMS campaigns.

Bulk Email Limits

To maintain compliance with Amazon SES guidelines and ensure uninterrupted service, the following updates have been made to our email-sending policies:

  1. Mandatory 24-Hour Gap Between Emails

A 24-hour gap is required between emails sent to the same recipient.

This applies to all email types, ensuring reduced risk of emails being marked as spam and alignment with SES recommendations.

  2. Weekly Email Volume Cap

Bulk actions are limited to 750,000 emails per company per week. Once this limit is reached, bulk emails will be restricted until the weekly cycle resets.

This cap prevents spam-like patterns that could result in account reviews or temporary suspensions.

Important Notes:

  • The 24-hour gap applies only to bulk emails

  • If two bulk emails target the same candidate within 24 hours, the second email will fail.

  • If an individual email is sent before a bulk email within 24 hours, the bulk email will fail.

  • However, if a bulk email is sent first, a manual email within 24 hours will still be delivered successfully.

Q: Can the Philippines WhatsApp line send messages to international numbers?
A: Yes, PH numbers can send messages to international numbers and vice versa.

Q: What does the bulk action status "halted" mean?
A: The Halted status means the bulk action to send messages via Email has been stopped. This happens due to the following restrictions:

  • A company can only send up to 750,000 emails per week.

  • An email can only be sent if the last email to the same recipient was more than 24 hours ago.

Q: What does the error "Cannot update a new record" mean when sending a bulk message?
A: This error means the monthly SMS limit has been reached, and the SMS won't be sent. If you encounter this error, please contact our support team!
