The Integration between Oracle HCM and Talkpush promotes a bidirectional interaction between the two platforms, centering Talkpush as the main recruitment platform, but benefiting recruitment operations with the perks of Oracle HCM through data updates that flow between both parties.

Talkpush + Oracle: An allegiance to elevate your workforce

Although there are innumerable API integration possibilities, you'll find some examples of how the connected tools can benefit your operations through an automated and personalized data flow:

  • Match your Oracle HCM Evergreen campaigns to specific Talkpush Campaigns.

  • Check for duplicate candidates (Do Talkpush Candidates exist in Oracle HCM?). According to the results, we can create or update candidate information from Talkpush to Oracle HCM.

  • Create candidates from Oracle HCM to Talkpush.

  • Update the status of candidates if they are shortlisted/rejected/hired from Talkpush to Oracle HCM and vice-versa.

Automate your integration with Autoflow

Rejected/Shortlisted Candidates via Autoflow can be checked for duplicates via API; if the candidate does not exist in Oracle HCM, the system will create the Candidate Profile in Oracle HCM and move the profile to Rejected/Shortlisted. If the candidate exists, the system will update the Candidate's Profile and move the profile to Rejected/Shortlisted.

  • Creation of prospects: Potential recruits are identified as leads as soon as they interact with Talkpush. These are people who typically haven't completed the entire pre-screening process but have the potential to become candidates. This pool of leads can be imported into Oracle HCM and treated like prospects.

  • Creation of candidates: Candidates in Oracle HCM and Talkpush share the same concept, ​job-seekers taking an active role in your hiring process and having a profile associated with a job offer.

  • Job offer extraction: You may create and manage as many campaigns as you need with Talkpush; a campaign will almost always represent a job offer or requisition that can be sent to view and process in Oracle HCM.

  • Candidate status updates: Processed candidates in Talkpush (moved to a new folder, e.g., Hired or Rejected) will be updated and placed in a new stage in Oracle HCM. A timely data flow will take place to trigger various actions aimed to narrow the recruitment funnel.

  • Assessment score updates: If you're collaborating with an Assessment Provider to collect all of the essential information from your talent pool, it is possible to bring their scores from Talkpush to Oracle HCM for evaluation and processing. Keep in mind that this is a new integration for which you should speak with your CSM and discuss the feasibility.

The startup uses Oracle, and they have requested Talkpush to assist them in integrating with the software while still assessing their candidates' English skills.

High-level Integration Flow

This high-level flow shows a use case for an integration with Oracle HCM, where we have automatic data flows between applications once a movement has been made on either side. This integration contemplates a middle layer of validation, wherein candidate records are checked from Talkpush to Oracle HCM to prevent duplicate applications or data loss between parties (candidates from Talkpush will also be in Oracle HCM).

A Dedicated Oracle HCM Integration Tab

When you integrate with Oracle HCM, you'll get a dedicated tab with all your integration specifications. In the image below, we can see the Job Openings from Oracle HCM in the Talkpush UI with their corresponding ID.

The Update Feed button allows you to force a refresh on the data coming from Oracle HCM.

Campaigns Ready to be Linked

The list of Job Openings on the Oracle HCM tab will be readily available on the Campaign Settings configurations to connect any Talkpush Campaign to an Oracle HCM Job Opening. When the Campaign and Job Opening are connected (1-1), the integration is activated, allowing the two platforms to talk to each other according to the terms agreed with your integration partner in Talkpush.
