The Requisition Management System includes several types of notifications to keep users informed of important actions and updates. Notifications can be received both by email and within the platform.

Accessing Notifications

All in-platform notifications can be accessed from the bell icon in the top-right corner of the platform.

From there, users can review recent activity and stay updated on any actions that require their attention.

Types of Notifications

1. Invitation to the Platform

When a user is invited to join the platform, they receive an email notification.
This email includes a link that allows the user to:

  • Create their password.

  • Access the platform for the first time.

This is the first step for any new user to join and start using the system.

2. New User Account Confirmation

If you are an admin and have added a new member or user to the platform, you will receive an in-platform notification (from the bell icon) once that user finishes creating their account.

This ensures admins are aware that the new user has successfully joined the system and is now active.

3. Requisition Approval Notification

When a user is assigned as the next approver for a requisition, they will receive an in-platform notification. This notification lets them know that a requisition is waiting for their action, and they can review, approve, or reject it directly from the platform.

4. Requisition Status Update

If you are the creator of a requisition, you will receive an in-platform notification when someone approves or rejects that requisition. This keeps the requester informed of the current status and outcome of their requisition.
