The Booking Question Type transforms your prescreening form into a one-step booking tool, allowing candidates to instantly choose their interview time. No follow-up messages, no coordination delays — just faster interviews and better candidate experiences.

What It Does

When added to your prescreening form, this Question Type displays an interactive calendar where candidates can pick an available date and time for their interview.

The calendar connects automatically to your company’s Recruitment Center, which controls:

  • Recruiter availability

  • Working hours and time zones

  • Slot limits and scheduling rules

By displaying available times directly within the form, candidates can confirm their interview immediately after answering screening questions — when engagement is at its highest.

Here are some benefits of including this Question Type in your Candidate's Journey:

  • Enabling instant scheduling: Candidates can book interviews right away — no need to wait for follow-up messages.

  • Increasing conversion rates: Reduces drop-off between screening and scheduling.

  • Saving time for recruiters: Removes manual coordination and back-and-forth messaging.

  • Improving the candidate experience: Offers a smooth, self-service process that feels professional and convenient.

How It Looks for The Candidate

  1. The candidate reaches the “Schedule Interview” step.
The system loads available time slots from your company’s Recruitment Center calendar via the Landing Page.

  2. The candidate selects a date and time.
Available slots are clearly displayed; once selected, the chosen time is highlighted. (Note: The timezone adjusts automatically based on the candidate’s device. If it's unavailable, it will default to the campaign location.)

  3. Candidate confirms the booking.
After a candidate selects the date, they will be prompted to confirm their schedule, which displays all the necessary information, including the date and time of the appointment, as well as the location. If the candidate needs to change their interview time, they can simply click on "Reschedule" and select an alternative time.

How It Looks In Talkpush

When creating or editing a prescreening form or Landing Page, you’ll find “Booking” as a new question type in the selector.

Once added:

  • It links automatically to the Campaign's selected Recruitment Center.

  • Confirmed bookings appear in recruiters’ calendars based on permissions and time zones.

Q: What happens If all available slots are taken by the time the candidate has to book their interview?

A: The Scheduling Question will appear, but instead of a calendar, it will display:

“It looks like all interview slots are fully booked at the moment. A recruiter will reach out soon to schedule your interview.”
