Virtual interviews are a core part of modern recruitment workflows. To ensure a smooth, professional experience for both recruiters and candidates, Talkpush supports the automatic generation of virtual meeting links directly within interview scheduling, eliminating the need for manual setup.

In this article, you will learn how automatic meeting links work, which integrations are supported, and how recruiters can configure interview locations correctly.

How It Works

When scheduling a virtual interview through the Recruiter's calendar, Talkpush can automatically generate and include a meeting link in the interview invitation.

The meeting link is created using the recruiter’s connected video conferencing or calendar integration and is added directly to the recruiter’s calendar event.

Candidates receive the meeting details through the calendar invitation and scheduled reminders.

The supported virtual meeting providers:

  • Google Meet

  • Zoom

  • Microsoft Teams

  • GoTo

How to Set it Up

First, the user must have their Calendar account connected to Talkpush. In this article you can check all the steps needed.

Once the account has been set up, you can select the Meeting Location, whether it is In Person or through a Video Conference application.

Once you select your desired provider, you will be redirected to a confirmation page to connect to the service. Once that is done, you will have your accounts linked, and your candidates will be able to receive their meeting links!

If you have already connected your account, there won’t be any further steps other than selecting your desired application.

Clicking the Trash Can icon next to the provider name will remove the connection. If it is selected again, you may be prompted to authorize the application again.

In Person Interview Option

When you select In person as the interview location, a free-text field becomes available.

You can enter any helpful location details, such as:

  • A physical address

  • A building or office name

  • A Google Maps link

  • Descriptive instructions (e.g., floor number, reception desk)

How the Candidate Receives their Interview Link

Once the candidate confirms their preferred interview time, they will receive an email with the details, including the confirmation message and a link to join the interview via the selected provider.
