Asking the right questions is key to finding the best people for your team. At Talkpush, offer different ways for you to evaluate candidates. The numeric responses means you'll have a way to see and analyze candidate answers, making your hiring process even better and more efficient.

Some types of questions you can ask are:

  • Age: You would typically set 2 minimum and maximum characters.

  • Local ID number: You should set a fixed number of minimum and maximum characters according to your location standards.

  • Salary expectation: You could set a range of minimum and maximum characters, but be sure to specify the currency in the question so there is no confusion.

How to Set Up Numeric Questions

  1. Click the Templates drop down button then go to Questions.

  2. On the Questions page click Create Question.

  3. Write your question that requires numeric responses on the textbox.

  4. Select the Question Type - Number.

  5. Select the candidate attribute you want to link the question to on the Data Map drop down list.

Note:

  • The minimum number of characters is 1, and the maximum is 30.

  • If the candidate inputs another format (non-numeric), the answer won't be accepted, and they will receive a pop-up message asking them to input a numeric value.

  • If the candidate writes less than 1 character or more than 30, the system will remind them with a pop-up message to respond within the allowed range.
