New Careers Experience is a rebuilt candidate journey covering the job listing page, individual job pages, the application, screening questions, the AI interview, and the confirmation page. It replaces the previous public candidate pages with a single, more polished experience that pulls from the branding you've already set up, so there's nothing new to configure.
Turning it on doesn't change how you work day to day. Campaigns, screening questions, and candidate data connect through the same setup as before — only the pages candidates see look different.
For your hiring process, that means a more consistent, professional first impression across every stage of the funnel, fewer candidates dropping off to confusing pages or broken links, and fewer support tickets from application issues that have been fixed as part of this rebuild.
To enable the New Careers Experience, please contact your Solutions Engineer or the Product Support Team.
What It Does
When the New Careers Experience is enabled, the new pages go live, the Job Listing URL shown in your settings updates automatically, and any links you've already shared — including QR codes and shortened links — redirect to the new pages on their own and keep their original tracking parameters.
Your careers/job listing page changes too, not just the pages behind it. Candidates get a search box plus filters for Location, Job Type, and Work Type that stay stable while they browse, job cards that only show real, confirmed details instead of placeholder text, and results split cleanly into pages of 20. Each job's preview also stays current, so a link shared days ago still shows an up-to-date preview when it's opened.
Jobs shared to the listing also carry Google-for-Jobs data automatically, so they can surface directly in Google Search results. For more on that integration, see Google Jobs + Talkpush.
The new pages use the branding you've already set up, with no new settings screen to fill in. Your brand color drives every visual element — buttons, the progress bar and step markers, selected states, links, the dark job summary card, and the AI interview screen. Your logo, listing header text, banners, privacy and terms links, and marketing tags all carry over automatically. If any of these are left blank, sensible defaults take over: Talkpush green for color, your company name as text when there's no logo, and "Join our team" for the header.
Note: Very light or very dark brand colors are automatically adjusted behind the scenes so text and buttons stay readable, and an invalid color quietly falls back to the default — you don't need to pick a "safe" shade.
Keeping every shared link working — old QR codes, shortened URLs, and links already sent to candidates redirect automatically once the new pages go live.
Carrying over your branding automatically — no new configuration screen; the new pages reuse what's already set in Company Settings.
Giving candidates one consistent flow — the same look and navigation from the job listing through the AI interview and confirmation.
Leaving your CRM and campaign setup untouched — no changes to how campaigns, questions, or candidate data work behind the scenes.
How It Looks For The Candidate
Job listing page
Candidates land on a public, branded page listing all of your open roles, with a search box and filters for Location, Country, Job Type, and Work Type.
Individual job page
Selecting a job opens its full description alongside a branded summary card and an Apply button.
Apply also appears again at the end of the full job description, on every screen size, so candidates who read all the way through the "What to expect" steps always have a way to apply right in front of them.
Closed or no-longer-available jobs show one clear message instead of an error.
Below the job description, candidates also see other open roles as Other Jobs — the same cards used on the listing page, excluding the job they're already viewing and any closed or unlisted roles.
Application flow
Candidates see their steps labelled up front, each with a time estimate. By default there are four — The Role, Your Details, Questions, and Done — and an extra Interview step is added when the campaign includes an AI interview.
The Role. A quick recap of the job description and requirements — already covered by the time a candidate reaches this point, so it's marked complete going in.
Your Details. Contact information, plus the option to apply using your resume to speed things along. Candidates confirm they agree to the privacy policy before continuing.
Questions. The campaign's screening questions, in whichever layout the campaign uses.
On campaigns that show one question per screen, the intro stays above the first question and folds away once the candidate moves on, so the same reassurance text doesn't repeat on every screen.
Interview Setup. Candidates get a quick device check before the interview starts — they can preview their camera, choose their microphone and speaker, and hear a short test tone to confirm sound is working, so a bad connection or wrong device gets caught before the interview begins, not during it.
Interview. The AI interview, on its own full-screen page. Only appears when the campaign includes one. This runs in its own branded screen.
Done. The confirmation page, showing any custom message and next-step options.
How It Looks In Talkpush
Once the New Careers Experience is on, the Job Listing URL shown under Campaign Settings > Sourcing updates automatically to point to the new pages. Copy it from there the same way you always have.
Note: If you've already shared a shortened or custom-source link for a campaign, you don't need to update it — it redirects to the new pages automatically.
To update the brand color that carries over to the new pages:
Go to Company Settings > Landing Pages.
Open the Color Theme picker and choose or enter your brand color.
Click Save. The new color applies across the job listing, job pages, application, and AI interview screen for companies with New Careers Experience turned on.
Color is only one part of your landing page branding. For banners, completion messages, and call-to-action buttons, see Customizable Landing Pages.
Q: Will this change anything for my recruiters or in the CRM? A: No. Campaigns, screening questions, and candidate data connect the same way they always have — only the candidate-facing pages look different.
Q: What happens to links I've already shared with candidates? A: They keep working. Old links, QR codes, and shortened URLs automatically redirect to the new pages once the toggle is on.
Q: Do I need to set up branding again? A: No. The new pages use the branding you already have in Company Settings — there's no new configuration screen to fill in.
Q: Does this change which languages candidates see? A: No. The new experience is translated across the same locales as before. |
