The Chat View in Talkpush displays the full message history and voice call activity with each candidate—all in one place. Whether you’re reviewing chatbot conversations, recruiter messages, or call recordings, the Chat View helps you stay informed and respond efficiently.
To open the Chat View, go to the Leads tab and select a candidate. You'll see their entire communication timeline, including messages, call summaries, and recordings if available. Even if a candidate's application has been deleted, their conversation history and call activity remain accessible for future reference.
Here's a quick video guide from Perry!
Chat View (Chat History & Activity Logs)
The Chat View presents both inbound and outbound messages in a clean, readable layout. With updated spacing, improved contrast, and a simplified interface, staying focused on the conversation is easier than ever.
Inbound (White): These are messages sent by candidates, which can include text, audio, or video. Below each message, you'll see the time it was sent and the source channel (e.g., "f" for Facebook Messenger).
Outbound (Gray): These are messages from your side, which may come from:
A modern bot icon represents the chatbot.
A human avatar or the user’s profile image represents a recruiter.
Activities performed on the candidate are also recorded in the Chat History (e.g. Movement history, Adding Labels, Editing info, etc.)
Voice AI & Recruiter Call Insights
If there have been past Voice AI or recruiter calls, the Chat View will show a Call Insights block inside the chat timeline. This allows you to review past conversations without navigating away.
Voice AI Calls
When a Voice AI interaction occurs, you’ll see:
Call Type: Describes the purpose of the call (e.g., Interview, Reminder, Follow-Up).
Call Title: A short 4–5 word highlight summarizing the conversation (e.g., “Available this weekend”).
Call Recording: Listen to the call directly from the chat.
Call Summary: Quickly explain what happened (shown for Completed, Declined, or Unfinished calls).
Call Status: Indicates the result (e.g., Completed, Declined, Unfinished).
Transcript Access: Opens a separate view to read the full transcript and play the audio.
Recruiter Calls
When a recruiter completes a call with a candidate, the chat will show:
Recruiter’s Name: The person whole spoke with the candidate.
Call Title: A short 4–5 word highlight.
Call Summary: A brief description of what was discussed or the outcome.
Call Recording: Access to the call recording
Transcript: Opens a separate view to read the full transcript of the call.
Only completed recruiter calls will appear in the Chat View.
