The Leads Tab is where recruiters spend most of their day. It brings every candidate across every campaign and folder into one workspace, so you can review profiles, send messages, and move applications through your pipeline without switching screens. With the latest update, the candidate profile now uses a streamlined three-panel layout that puts the chat front and center.
Switching Between the New UI and Classic View
The new Leads Tab layout rolls out alongside the existing Classic View. You can switch between the two at any time using the toggle in the top-right corner.
To try the new layout, click + Try New UI in the top-right of the Leads Tab. To return to the previous layout, click Back to Classic in the same spot. Your preference is remembered per browser session.
💡 Note: The new UI changes how the candidate profile is laid out (three-panel view). It does not change how candidate data, messages, or applications are stored — everything you see in Classic is also available in the new UI. |
Campaigns, Folders & Filters
Campaigns typically map to job positions. You can select a single campaign, multiple campaigns, or all available campaigns to load candidate profiles. The Folder drop-down loads candidates from a specific folder or from all folders — either Custom or Default. The folder drop-down also shows how many profiles are in each folder.
Your search starts only after you click the Search button. You can add or remove filters freely before starting your search. Filters narrow your results — to use them, click the + Add filter button. For more on filters, see How to Use the Search Filter Bar.
The Candidate List, Search, Sort & Select
After choosing a campaign and folder, the Candidate List will appear. You can click on candidates to review their profiles and process their applications. You can search for candidates by application ID, first name, last name, email, or phone number. You can also sort the list using the Sort button. Available options are Best Match, Last Interaction, Date Added, Job Scoring, and Candidate Name.
You can also sort by Job Matching Score by clicking the Sort button. Choose Job Scoring Asc for ascending or Job Scoring Desc for descending. Candidates without a score appear at the bottom of the sorted list. You can combine this with other filters or sort options without losing your Job Matching Score preference.
Clicking a candidate avatar — or the select-all checkbox — opens the Bulk Actions menu. From there you can move candidates, send messages, and run other actions across multiple profiles at once.
💡 To cancel a Bulk Action, reach out to the Product Support team via Intercom. |
The Candidate Profile
In the new UI, the candidate profile uses a three-panel layout designed to keep the most important information close at hand:
Middle Panel
Shows the candidate's application details, contact information, available functions, and a summary of the application history.
Candidate Overview
Key candidate details including name, contact information, and the campaign where the application is currently active.
Candidate Journey (Overview)
A summary of the application's historical movements across folders, including time spent in each stage. Select View all to open the full Journey tab for detailed history.Application Details
Candidate ID, Application ID, location, date added, completion date, last assigned date, last interaction, source, Facebook Page, and WhatsApp Line. These details can be edited using the pencil icon at the top-right of the section.Move Candidate
Move the candidate to another stage in the pipeline.Assign Recruiter
Assign or reassign the candidate to a recruiter.Add Tag
Add tags to the candidate profile for easier organization and filtering.Share Application
Share the application with a teammate or third-party reviewer.
Vertical tab navigation
A slim icon strip located between the middle and right panels that lets users switch between different sections of the candidate profile. Each icon opens a dedicated view in the right panel. Hover any icon to see its tooltip; the active tab shows a green bar on the left.
Right Panel
This panel displays detailed information based on the selected tab, allowing users to switch between different views of the candidate profile. By default, the Chat tab is shown when opening a candidate profile.
Tab | What it shows |
💬 Chat | The full message history with the candidate across SMS, Facebook, Email, and WhatsApp. This is the default tab when you open any candidate profile. |
📄 Documents | Files uploaded by the candidate (IDs, resumes, certifications). Third-party assessment files no longer appear here — see Assessments below. |
💭 Comments | Internal comments and reviews left by your team. Candidates do not see these. |
❓ Screening Questions | The candidate's answers to the campaign's pre-screening questions. |
🧪 Assessments | A consolidated view of the candidate's assessment results, including TalkScore and third-party assessment reports. Access report files, review results, and filter by vendor when multiple assessments are available. |
🏷️ Attributes | Candidate Attributes captured during pre-screening or added by recruiters (e.g., Language, Country, Years of Experience). |
🗺️ Journey | The candidate's full stage and folder history with timestamps. Each stage card includes a collapsible actions section (collapsed by default) showing everything that happened during that stage — emails sent, assignments, stage moves, and integration events — in reverse chronological order. Actions no longer appear in the chat timeline; this is now the single place to review them. |
📋 Other Applications | Other campaigns the same candidate has applied to in your account. |
Chat View
The Chat View opens by default in the right panel and shows the full interaction history with the candidate. Even if a candidate's application is deleted, messages remain in the chat history.
Messages can be inbound or outbound. White messages are responses sent by the candidate — text, audio, or video. Below each message you can see the channel it came from (f indicates Facebook) and the time it was sent. Grey messages come from the recruiter side — either a chatbot response (robot icon) or a recruiter (human avatar or saved photo).
To send messages faster, use Tokens for automatic personalisation, or attach files directly from the chatbox. Click the templates icon to open Quick Replies — these are automatically filtered to the active channel (SMS, Facebook, Email, or WhatsApp).
Finally, select the channel for your message: SMS, Facebook, Email, or WhatsApp.
💡 Note: You can't send the same exact message to a candidate twice in a row. If you try, you'll see a Duplicate Message reminder. To resend, edit the message slightly before sending it again. |
Filtering by Calls
If your company has the calling feature enabled, two chips appear at the top of the Chat panel: Messages and Calls. The Messages chip is selected by default every time you open a candidate profile.
Messages — shows the full conversation thread, including call cards in chronological order.
Calls — filters the thread to show only call cards, making it easy to review all call touchpoints at a glance. The chip displays a count of all live and WhatsApp calls for that candidate.
If no calls have been made yet, the Calls view shows an empty state with a Call candidate shortcut. If your company does not have calling enabled, no chips appear and the chat behaves as before.
How to Delete a Candidate Profile
Only users with Owner access can delete a candidate profile. Deleted candidates cannot be recovered, so take this action only when necessary.
Find the candidate in the Leads Tab using their Application ID in the search bar.
In the candidate's preview window, click the trash can icon in the top-right corner.
Confirm the deletion by clicking Yes on the pop-up message.
General Export
The General Export function lets you export your candidate database into a file format Excel can read.
